Connecting AppsFlyer to Churney
Sharing your AppsFlyer data with Churney
Customers can choose to share some of their data with Churney directly from AppsFlyer.
Note that currently this does not replace sharing your zero and first party data with Churney via a direct DWH integration by permission, but it does help with making Churney more robust.

Raw data exports
Customers or prospects wishing to explore their pLTV impact can use AppsFlyer to export raw in-app events data and upload the output to our free analysis tool.
Postbacks - installs and in-app events
Churney combines AppsFlyer postbacks and rich first-party DWH data to create a fail-safe, adaptive approach to user-level predictions. With near-real-time updates from AppsFlyer and deep behavioral context from the DWH, our models remain accurate and responsive, even if one data source experiences issues. This dual-source approach allows for immediate model adjustments that reflect current acquisition and engagement trends while enabling highly accurate, timely predictions. Additionally, Churney’s models can incorporate your unique attribution logic alongside AppsFlyer’s, providing enriched context for precise pLTV forecasts and a comprehensive understanding of user behavior to maximize long-term value predictions.
Enabling the Churney partner marketplace integration
Log-in to your AppsFlyer account, select the app for which you want to share data with Churney, and select ‘partner marketplace’ under the ‘collaborate’ left hand menu item.
In AppsFlyer marketplace, search and select Churney’s partner profile. Click ‘Set up integration’.
Under the integration tab, select ‘activate partner’.
Configuring data sharing through postbacks
Under the default install postbacks, make sure to select ‘all media sources, including organic’ from the dropdown menu.
Toggle on ‘in-app event postbacks’.
Click the ‘add event’ button.
From the dropdown select an in-app event you wish to share with Churney. We recommend sharing all revenue bearing events, including refunds if such exist. If you monetize via in-app ads, and have impression level revenue data ingested into AppsFlyer in real-time, make sure to share these ad revenue events as well.
For each event you elect to share with Churney, make sure to share it for users from ‘all media sources, including organic’ from the dropdown, and don’t forget to include ‘values & revenue’ otherwise we will get empty events.
Don’t forget to save changes.
