Noy Rotbart
Co-founder & CEO
Noy Rotbart is a co-founder of Churney. He previously served as a data science manager at LiveIntent, architect at the innovation department of Nykredit, and lead data engineer at Save the Children. Noy holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen.
Brian Brost
Co-founder & CTO
Brian has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, where his research focused on the intersection between applied machine learning and causal inference. Before Churney, he worked as a research scientist at Spotify, where he initiated Spotify's efforts to maximize the impact of promotional campaigns using causal machine learning.
Casper Hansen
Co-founder
Casper holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen. His work has centered around machine learning with a particular focus on user modeling and recommender systems, on which he has co-authored more than 25 publications and two US patents. Aside from research, he has worked as an ML engineer and consultant in various large national institutions and an AI startup.
Christian Hansen
Co-founder
Christian has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, focused on machine learning for sequential data modeling applied to search and recommender systems, with dozens of publications and more than 600 citations. He has done data science consulting and worked in multiple startups, where he was a co-inventor of different patents on machine learning for recommender systems.
Benjamin Zeymer Christoffersen
Data Scientist
Benjamin Christoffersen is a data scientist at Churney working mainly with trials and treatment effect estimation. He has a PhD in Statistics from Copenhagen Business School, and he previously worked as a postdoc at Karolinska Institutet and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Martin Rosenzweig
Data Scientist
Martin Rosenzweig is a data scientist at Churney. He holds a Master's degree in Mathematics in Data Science from the Technical University of Munich and has previous experience as a researcher at tech companies and financial institutions.
Saeed Masoudian
Data Scientist
Saeed is a data scientist at Churney. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, where he focused on Online Learning and Multi-armed Bandits. Before joining Churney, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Denmark Learning Theory and Applications (DeLTA) lab.
Wilson Zhou
Data Scientist
Wilson Zhou is a data scientist at Churney. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Copenhagen Business School. He has previously worked at TV 2 and Schultz Information as a data scientist, developing and deploying large scale machine learning models and recommendations systems.
Adam Montgomery
Data Scientist
Adam is a Data Scientist at Churney. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and began his career as a Performance Marketing Manager at Hutch Games, where he gained valuable experience in the gaming industry. Before joining Churney, he held the role of Marketing Analytics Engineer, where he developed his skills in data engineering, automation, and analytics.
Theo Rüter Würtzen
Student Data Scientist
Theo is a student data scientist currently doing his MSc in Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen. He has previously worked as a research assistant at the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence.
Suela Isaj
Data and ML Engineer
Suela Isaj is a Data and ML engineer at Churney. She holds a Joint PhD in Computer Science from Aalborg University and Université libre de Bruxelles in the field of spatial data extraction and entity resolution. Suela has previously worked as data engineer at Issuu, and data quality officer and risk system specialist at Raiffeisen Bank.

Data Engineer
Aske is a data engineer at Churney and has previously worked as a software developer in multiple startups. He has a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen.
Florian Laws
Machine Learning Engineer
Florian is a ML engineer at Churney. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart, where he focused on Active Learning and Natural Language Processing. Before joining Churney, he worked as a ML engineer and data scientist in multiple startups.
Eric Raymond
Staff Platform Engineer
Eric is a Staff Platform Engineer at Churney. He has +25 years of engineering experience drawing from working in PaaS, SaaS, Advertising, Gaming, Streaming, Fintech, and Healthcare.
Changjun Li
Student Engineer
Chanjun is a student engineer currently doing his MSc in Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen. He has previously worked as a software developer at Tencent and Microsoft.
Petru Birzu
Front-end Engineer
Petru is a software engineer at Churney. In his previous role, he was part of an engineering team at Trustpilot. Petru has a Web Development BA from Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.
Aaron Duane
Data Visualisation Lead
Aaron has a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Dublin City University. He was also a Marie Curie European Fellow at the IT University of Copenhagen. At Churney, Aaron leads the design and development of our interactive dashboards, creating advanced data visualisations for both internal and external stakeholders.
Anna Bigaard
Head of Product
Anna serves as the Head of Product at Churney. In her previous roles, she has built product teams and managed product roadmaps across various SaaS companies. Her expertise stems from her experiences at Nykredit, Topdanmark, and several startups.
Anna Freja Korvin
Senior Product Designer
Anna Freja is the senior product designer at Churney. She has previously worked for multiple SaaS startups where she has secured the usability and desirability of the product. At Churney, Anna Freja is responsible for creating good UX and visual coherence to the product and to the external communication.
Roi Shivek
Head of GTM
Roi is a high-tech industry veteran with 25 years in marketing and ad tech. As an entrepreneur, he’s founded and led successful ventures. At AppsFlyer, he launched the Disruptive Innovation Labs, driving product innovation. Outside of work, Roi is a professional chef, sailor, skydiver, diver, and sketch artist. This blend of expertise and creativity makes him a dynamic leader at Churney.
Arun Narayanan Thazhath Valiaveedu
Lead, Marketing Science and Client Process
Arun has an educational background in Engineering and Business Administration. In his last role he was seen dabbling in Experiments, Advertising and LTV at Meta. During his free time, he can be found watching Arsenal play, sipping on Lemon Tea and/or listening to Progressive South Asia Rock.
Nico Balkin
Sales Consultant
Nico is a Business Developer at Churney. After acquiring an MBA at the Copenhagen Business School, his previous positions always involved customer interactions, either as a travelling Salesman, BDR or Account Executive. He joined Churney after working 2 years in the Generative AI industry (Synthesia)
Paul Fagan
Agency Partnership Manager
Paul manages Churney's relationships with performance marketing agencies. He previously worked in several digital marketing positions, with the last one as a marketing science partner at Meta. Paul holds a higher diploma in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin.
Philipp Steck

Philipp is a student developer and is currently doing his MSc in Social Data Science at the University of Copenhagen. He has previously worked as a Research and Customer Experience Specialist at CheckYeti.
